MAGIC MAKERS is an intentional space celebrating queer arts & crafting that is centered on political and social awareness, a diversity of artists and vendors, and resistance to cultural appropriation often found in craft shows.
We are so thrilled to be announcing the the fourth annual installment of MAGIC MAKERS: a showcase, celebration, and marketplace for queer artists. Returning after last year’s amazing and inspiring event, MAGIC MAKERS will take place on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Humanist Hall in Oakland.
We are excited to be extending invitations to:
▼ foodies, cooks and bakers ▼
[we will have a full service kitchen, bar, and outdoor area!]
▼ bartenders and elixir makers ▼
▼ barbers and hair stylists ▼
▼ artists and crafters of all kinds ▼
▼ healers* of all kinds ▼
This year, we’re offering a sliding scale for table fees. By doing so, we hope to nourish the spirit of mutual aid, sustainability, and access. Table fees are $40-80 for a 6 foot table and $20-40 for a split table (3 feet). Magic Makers provides tables and chairs, as well as a promotion, outreach, a stack of promotional postcards delivered to your door, and a big, beautiful space for your craft and community to collide.
